The Citizens Union

Self purported non partisan watchdog citizen group with the goal of promoting good government. Provides commentary on statewide candidates but not for Federal or Judiciary offices. Also includes salary figures for each office.

The League of Women Voters of the City of New York

A nonpartisan organization whose purpose is to promote informed and active citizen participation in government.

ELECTIONS

 

Board of Elections in the City of New York

New York City Board of Elections website. Provides information on candidates, voter registration data and statistics.

Voter Assistance Commission site provides information on voter registration. Special feature allows you to search for elected officials by address. Also provides an interactive map of the surrounding area to identify schools, local emergency services, wi-fi hotspots, etc.
